Shiba Inu’s value has risen by a whopping 10 percent over the past 24 hours after a whale swooped up 4 trillion SHIB tokens in a single transaction worth $134 million (roughly Rs. 1,012 crore). Over the past 24 hours, the crypto market has rallied strongly with prices of most popular crypto coins rising dramatically. But, a massive SHIB transaction by one whale caused Shiba Inu’s gain in value to eclipse that of Bitcoin and Ether.
Shiba Inu is the “most traded and biggest hodling token among the top 1000 ETH wallets,” according to a tweet from WhaleStats, a tracking tool that keeps close tabs on the wallets of the 1,000 richest Ethereum whales.
In addition, the wallet held by the whale who bought 4 trillion SHIB tokens, now holds over $144 million (roughly Rs. 1,087.89 crore) worth of Shiba Inu tokens, which represent 26 percent of the portfolio’s holdings of Ethereum-based tokens.
A third of the wallet’s $500 million (roughly Rs. 3,776.34 crores) total currency value is held in Ethereum-based tokens, such as The Sandbox and GALA, with the rest scattered among stable coins and altcoins, such as Tether.
