Vivo is reportedly working on the Vivo NEX 5 and foldable phones of the NEX brand. It is expected that it will be launched this year, but there is no concrete information about its specifications. As far as the NEX 5 is concerned, the rumor mill has slowly started leaking its details. Recently, an officially official render of the flagship phone appeared on Weibo. Reports have claimed that Vivo Nex 5 will be a hybrid of Vivo X70 Pro+ and iQOO 9 Pro. A fresh leak has revealed all the specs of the device.
Vivo NEX 5 Specifications
The Vivo NEX 5 is likely to feature a curved-edge Samsung E5 AMOLED LPTO 2.0 display that offers Quad HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely that the smartphone will have an IP68-rated chassis. The NEX 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The flagship phone can come with 8 GB / 12 GB RAM and 256 GB / 512 GB storage. The device could house a 5,000mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Vivo NEX 5 Camera
The NEX 5 could feature a 32-megapixel Samsung GD2 front-facing camera. The rear camera setup includes a 50-megapixel Samsung GN1 8-bit lens with f/1.3 aperture and OIS support, a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 ultra wide lens with f/2.0 aperture and OIS support, a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 portrait could. A lens with f/2.93 aperture and OIS support, and an 8-megapixel Omni Vision OVD8A10 telephoto lens with OIS support. The latter may offer 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom and 60x digital zoom.

It is believed that Vivo NEX 5 can be launched in March or April this year. The new leak claims that the NEX 5 will come in three variants such as 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. The price of these variants can be 5,999 Yuan (Rs 70,372), 6,499 Yuan (Rs 76199) and 6,999 Yuan (Rs 82,100).
