As part of the Chinese tech giant’s Oppo New Year Edition initiative, the company has released a special edition Oppo Reno 7 5G with a new colour scheme and a special logo etched on the back.In November, Oppo introduced its Reno 7 series in China, and the phone is still not available globally as of now. According to the Oppo Reno 7 5G New Year Edition pricing, the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs. 31,800), while those with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage costs CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs. 35,400).Among the models in the Oppo Reno 7 5G New Year Edition, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version costs CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 38,900). It comes in a special colour – Velvet Red – and has a tiger-engraved logo on the rear camera module.
Specifications of Oppo Reno 7 5G
As the new Oppo Reno 7 5G New Year Edition is only a redesign, its specifications are the same as those of the vanilla Oppo Reno 7 5G, which launched in China in November. There is a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate.
According to Oppo, the Reno 7 5G New Year Edition comes with triple rear cameras, including a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Up front, there’s a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 sensor.
